Re: Other Great Freeware Games

Hm, I'll look at that. I noticed you have an incorrect link...a quick search and I found it here.

Re: Afterlife 2!

I just finished the first act for the Fire realm, and I have to say, I'm having a really great time. The realm before (Mystical ruins or something) was just awesome, and the levels felt really big. Also, the little minigame for Ankhs is pretty cool (Bomberman or something?), and definitely adds to r...

Afterlife 2!

I just started playing it today (two days late, argh!), and I find it to be very neat! Much different than the original Afterlife, and I like how it somewhat feels like an RPG (Cutscenes and Lore), and the umbrella is lots of fun to use. The controls are hard to get used to. One question, I landed o...

Hmm, my RSS feed hasn't been updating with all this new news. Oh well.

Nice to see Afterlife is still being updated. :)

Re: Other Great Freeware Games

I'd like to point out Spelunky , which is an awesome mix between platformer and roguelike, with randomly generated levels. I really like it and it's very addicting. It reminds me of some older games, and the music is pretty decent. There is a different area every five levels, but the farthest I've e...

Re: Gameplay versus presentation

The only thing I really care about when it comes to games is the gameplay, but sometimes the graphics get in the way of gameplay, like when the font is too small or I can't tell an enemy between a friend. I don't have much patience or imagination, so I generally don't like text adventures either - u...

Re: Other Great Freeware Games

Art of Theft is amazing. Really well done, best 2D Theft game I've played (of course theres probably only like 2 others).

I got to Heist 6, after a few hours of trying. Very fun and addicting.

Invalid Tangram is amazing, one of the best freeware games in a long while - the installer almost being less space than Noctis. Great find. :)

(It's going on the school computer for sure, this one...)

Meh, no ones posted a MMOFPS game on here for a while, so I'd like to introduce... SPACE COWBOY ONLINE Please dont hate it for the funny name, its fun! Anyways, farther away from childish that the name implies, its a fully 3D spaceshooter, but not very many maps are in space. Most are on the ground,...

Merry [insert holiday here]!

Well, since no one has made a thread like this yet, thought I might as well.

I got DDR and money for a Wii for Christmas ($ 4 Wii due to out-of-stock), and have been playing DDR for the past 3 hours. Dang, I'm addicted. :P

Well, my year-long dream has been to learn to save text etc. in files on VB.NET. I have FINALLY accomplished most of what I wanted to do. And from it, came THIS! It's a decently-cool app that shows off saving/loading - in the form of monsters. It's a lot like Scannerz (If you've ever gotten to see/u...
