Evowok Breeder update 4.5.2

This is to announce the release of Evowok Breeder version 4.5.2. This update fixes a few bugs reported since the last update, and also makes one small interface improvement:
  • Fixed bug causing evowok wearing barding to be invisible in the encounter screen when on an encountered breeder's left-hand side.
  • Fixed scripting bug preventing rematches against Abigail in Feldspar.
  • Prevented encountered breeders sometimes fielding evowok with no useful moves.
  • Added ability to switch between evowok from the evowok stats screen using the directional keys or mouse.

The 4.5.2 update can be downloaded from the usual place.

Hi,

I'm back with more suggestions. >:D

- Trainer's fights:
What about the limit number over their head instead of a question mark?
It'd help when coming back to a location to clear it.

- Healer:
Why not an option to heal both evowoks? Eventually only available if both are injured?
Even better if it's the first option.

- Economy:
I still find it really tight, sometimes a fight will net you 15 gold and healing both evowoks 50/60+
Sometimes you can fight multiples opponents in a row before healing as well but still, you're not earning much cash with regular fights.

Two suggestions:
1- Halved healing costs.
2- Bonus prizes from the crowd (not for wilderness trainers fights) for cities/various locations fights
Example +5 per KO +10 per kill YOU achieved, plus, eventually a bonus if you win with an evo/team below the fight's limit. Like +1 gold per point?

- Speed
I still find city walking speed too slow, a x2 walking speed is way more confortable, it's tedious to play without cheatengine's speedhack, particularly for huge locations like stadiums.

Bug n°62

Hi,

Im getting a crash to desktop with this message while meeting a travelling merchant on the worldmap (the one with a cart and a horse).
If it's not because of items he carries, it might be because of feendish, i experienced many crash while transferring xp to his skills.
He has the bite (poisoned one) move which also might be a cause for instability, i remember having some CTD in a previous playthrough after teaching a poisoned move to an evo, or maybe turning one into a poison move.

The feendish wasn't identified, it's the one you can buy (lvl 80) in amethyst city, I believe.

The merchant crash happened 3 times in a row just after picking the buy option.

I wasn't able to pinpoint anything special for the transfer xp crashes as it crashed twice but not while improving the same move.
Taught him headbutt, pounce and then bodyslam, replacing pounce with bodyslam.

Thanks for reporting the crash. I haven't actively worked on Evowok Breeder since 2021, so I may need to re-acquaint myself with the code to investigate, but I'll make a note to look into it!

Is the error experienced when training your feendish also displaying as Error #62? I'd guess from your description that these are two different bugs, as they occur during different actions. :)

I'm not sure, i didn't write the other number down as I'm using cheatengine's speedhack (x2 speed) and it seems to cause some crashes here and there so I save often and don't report those.

But this bug first occurred with the speedhack enabled and I reproduced it twice without cheatengine even running.
