This week brings the release of Afterlife 3: Legends of Rickard Bronson, a free downloadable game for Windows that developer Ryan J. Bury describes as "some sort of 90s-inspired roguelike platformer (maybe)."

Afterlife 3 serves as a prequel to the previous entries in the series, though Bury assures that no previous experience with the Afterlife games is necessary to enjoy the latest release. Each of the game's levels is procedurally generated, and players will encounter a variety of tough boss characters and unlockable minigames throughout. The game also has online leaderboards, allowing you to compare your best playthroughs with competing players worldwide.
